Stephen, it was a joke

Guys, sarcasm is REALLY difficult to detect in print. It’s EASY to catch the humor if you know the source, but without being familiar with who’s making jokes, it can be hard to know whether or not you really mean what you’re saying.

It’s not that tough to place some sort of clue in your posts. The one I use is a take-off on HTML:

Even j/k will do. (Just Kidding)

To make a topical reference: If it’s Saturday Night Live, The Onion or Steven Colbert, you can pretty much guess what to make of it. If it’s the New Yorker magazine, it’s obviously somewhat tougher.
